Update on Awana Events – Jan. 19th, 2012
Because Awana was cancelled last week, we realize some of you are wondering how you are going to get your Grand Prix Cars weighed before the deadline on the 22nd. There are a couple of options:
- Go to the Post Office and weigh it on the scale in the lobby or ask them to weigh it for you.
- Give us a call – we are borrowing a scale that we will have available through Sunday.
Remember, your car should not weigh more than 5 ounces or it will not be fair to the rest of the contestants.
We are anticipating that the roads will be safe and clear by this Sunday so we will look forward to seeing you and your cars!
Also because of Awana being cancelled last Sunday, we have decided to move “Bring Your Parent Night” to February 12.
We have also decided to combine the December/January award recognition with the Grand Prix Night on the 29th.
We’ll see you Sunday, 5:45, at the Community School Gym… (and you can still dress up like a clown if you want to
